Esa Ruskeepää graduated with a Master’s degree in architecture from the Helsinki University of Technology in 2007. After winning 1st prize in an open competition in 2014 he was commissioned to design Bildungshaus, a new library and educational centre in Wolfsburg, Germany. In 2013 he was awarded 2nd prize in an open competition for the new Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture in Espoo, Finland. He completed his first project, the Opinmäki school and learning centre in Espoo, Finland, in 2015 after winning an open competition in 2012. Ruskeepää has been a teaching associate at Aalto University since 2008.
